Salomon Orchestra is made up of a large number of non-professional musicians, all of whom give their time and effort towards the orchestra for free.  We bring in professional conductors and professional soloists to work with the orchestra and we have a different conductor for each concert, making the experience constantly new and fresh.

Salomon Orchestra is led by Ellen Gallagher. Ellen is a very experienced player and leader in the London amateur music world, and prior to taking up the role of leader had guest led Salomon Orchestra several times. After beginning her professional career in the music industry with Opera North, Chandos and ENO, Ellen now works professionally as a solicitor/advocate.
