News! We are very excited to announce that we are starting to prepare for our first concert since the advent of Covid-19, which will be on Tuesday 14 December at 8pm at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn, conducted by Johann Stuckenbruck. The programme will be Hindemith’s Symphony Mathis der Maler followed by Brahms’ Symphony no. 2. To buy tickets please click here.

Our spring concert will be on Sunday 6th March at 4pm at the Royal College of Music – more details to follow.

Salomon Orchestra has been widely described as London’s finest non-professional symphony orchestra.  Founded in 1963, we continue to put on high-quality performances of a broad range of symphonic repertoire, with three central London concerts per year (autumn, spring and summer) as well as other external events.  Each concert has a different professional conductor.

If you wish to book the orchestra for an event, are interested in conducting or performing with us, or would like to offer support or place an advert in our programme, please contact us.

We are very lucky not to need any financial support at this time, but if you are visiting this page and want to support musicians in the UK, the wonderful charity Help Musicians are providing much-needed support for a whole host of professional musicians who are struggling under the current conditions.
